Sean Ford is the Operating Partner for Dancor. Sean takes pride in successfully working directly for each and every client to ensure that everything promised is delivered on time or early. Sean Ford and Danny Sanita became partners in Dancor in 2004. Both grew up in the same neighborhood of North York, just north of Toronto. Sean was the Vice President of a large Industrial/Commercial Design Build construction firm in the 1990’s and early 2000’s but was looking to branch out as an owner and provide a different approach to client service and construction. Both Danny and Sean approach each project through the client’s needs and wants, and do everything they possibly can to satisfy those conditions. Sean and Danny have been honored by the Cities of Toronto, Mississauga, and Laredo for their contributions to the growth and development of these cities. Sean brings a unique set of life experiences to Dancor. In addition to his construction abilities, Sean was the General Manager of a Concrete firm, Lecturer at Ryerson Polytechnical University, Owner General Contracting and Construction firm, Manager, Ontario Ministry of Labour, and Policy Adviser, Ontario Government. Each role he has played in his life has become the melting pot of expert experience benefiting clients and staff alike. His team approach to managing all projects, Dancor’s business goals, new business development, and charitable endeavors have earned Sean and Dancor prestigious accolades from the community and industry alike. Sean has built millions of square feet in his career and has developed a retained portfolio of more than 1,300,000 S.F. in London, Toronto, Ontario and Texas.

In his role as Vice President of Construction at Dancor, Steve is responsible for overseeing the entire construction process from beginning to end. Working closely with the Consultants, Owner, Trades and Dancor’s team members to manage the daily operations. Steve has over 35 years experience managing construction projects for large industrial warehouse facilities, hi-rise office buildings, LTCF, retirement homes, pharmaceutical, retail and specialty buildings. Steve’s experience in estimating, contract management, project documentation, and business development has proven to be an asset to Dancor. After 35 years in the construction industry, Steve continues to enjoy successful bids, developing a plan, plan implementation, and finishing on schedule and on budget.

Jaime is a Senior Project Manager at Dancor Construction. He has been part of our team since November of 2020. He is involved with many aspects of each project that we do. This ranges from initial meeting with the client, pre-construction preparation, project documentation/coordination, and post construction closeout. He brings with him 10+ years working in different components in the construction industry. Jaime is a graduate from Fanshawe College with a diploma in Architectural Technology.

Sina has been in the construction industry for 18 years. He has been estimating and managing projects valued from $2 million to $85 million in value. Sina tries to build relationships with clients and subcontractors, to make day to day go smoothly and successful. Having happy clients and good relationship with subtrades is what Sina tries to achieve and build on in his career.

Robin has almost 50 years of experience in construction that ranges from complicated and intricate industrial/ commercial facilities to new residential subdivisions to complex vaccine production facility renovations. Having earned a degree in architecture from the University of Toronto he has a unique set of qualifications to take a project from conception to building completion. Comfortable either in a consultants’ meeting or on-site directing trades he has the training and the experience to understand the competing needs that all parties bring to the table. As a problem-solver he seeks to find the nub of a problem; develop consensus towards a solution and then enact a plan to move forward with all parties in agreement. He believes respect and conscious listening provides the basis for a successful collaboration between performance and quality.

With just over a year of experience as a general contractor, Frank is a young Assistant Site Manager who is eager to learn all that he can about this side of the construction industry. 11 years of experience in earthworks and a background in civil engineering has provided Frank with a solid foundation of construction knowledge and site management skills. With much more to learn and many years to come, Frank believes an open mind, a level-headed demeanor, and a thirst for knowledge are traits that will allow him to excel and grow in this industry.

Salman has a BSc. in Civil Engineering with more than 30 years of work experience in the construction industry. Salman has sound knowledge in OBC, OPSS, CSA standards and procedures and OHS Act and Regulations and has worked on ICI and High-rise Residential towers Projects. He has provided professional project management, to ensure the continuous improvement and effectiveness of performance.

I got my start in construction as a residential house framer in Windsor at the age of 19. I was attending the University of Windsor at the time. I needed a summer job to support myself, while in school taking Psychology, so I applied to an add looking for a laborer. I soon found I had a love for construction and changed career paths immediately. In some form or another I have been in the construction realm since. When the time was right for me, I had my own construction businesses and did well for myself for a long time. I met my common law wife, soon afterwards. We had kids and I needed the security of a job with benefits once again. I started working as a Site Supervisor, for a company called Century Group Inc. out of Mississauga. I had the opportunity to see many of the great cities in Canada with them and got to travel to every Province West of Ontario and even a few out East as well. At 47 years of age, I was fortunate enough to be able to return to school and moved to London Ontario. I attended Fanshawe College and studied in the Construction Project Management Course there. What an absolutely wonderful experience that was. As an adult, I would highly recommend school at that age; as you have a different appreciation of why you are there. I graduated the course in January of 2020. Since graduating, I have had the opportunity to work with Elgin Construction and Renovating and also one of the oldest construction companies in Canada – Hayman Construction Inc. Neither was the right fit. Fortunately, I was given the opportunity in October of 2023 to join the Dancor Construction Team, as one of their Site Managers and have not looked back since.

With over 10 years of project management experience, Basim has a proven track record of meeting high expectations, managing multiple tasks and successfully delivering projects on schedule. His professional qualifications and experience combine to create a successful project manager. Basim values efficient communication, organization, creativity, and strong work ethics as he believe these are integral components of a successful project management role. He has worked on a diverse project in the commercial, industrial, Health facilities and residential, CP Rail, FedEx, Tradition Food, Fraser Health, Day Care, Community Housing, Ellis Don, Schools, City of Toronto, and others.

As the Manager of Construction and Property Management in Central Ontario, Julia is a vital member on the construction and building team coordinating permits and approvals, sub-trade partner contracts, client contracts and is often the first contact for our clients for their interior layouts and interior decorating. Julia organizes our Permit Applications for our buildings and our interior layouts. Julia is a liaison between our clients and the cities we build in, and assists the estimating group on project pricing and change order. Julia also manages the client/tenant relationships for the Dancor Industrial Building Portfolio ensuring a very high level of service and service delivery. Julia’s practical, common-sense approach to problem solving helps Dancor consistently deliver great results on each and every project.

As the Property and Contracts Manager in Southwestern Ontario, Candice is the key point of contact between the London Tenants and Dancor. Overseeing all aspects of the London property operations, from tenant relations to maintenance and repairs are only part of her duties. She works with our trade and sub-contractor partners to ensure all of their needs are met in order to deliver superior service to Dancor’s tenants and clients. Candice also works with our real estate team to create marketing plans, tour facilities, and prospect new clients. In addition to prospecting new clients, she is responsible for growing and retaining existing accounts by providing solutions and services to our clients. Candice has a background in Event Management and Hospitality, with over a decade of experience in customer service that has proven to be an asset to Dancor.
